Family

Today as I sat down at Grandma's dining room table, I looked around at the faces of my family. Pure joy shined from their eyes, and kind words from their mouths. I suddenly realized that family is absolutely the ONLY thing in this world that truly, stays to true to you. Over the past few months the old expression became utterly real to me, "You'll find out your friends true colors soon enough". Almost all of my true friends, suddenly became distant. A few old, and a few new gave me cushion to fall back on. But it was my family, Colton included, that really gave me the strength to bring another old saying to front...Forget 'em! Today, I sat down with my family and had some of my greatest memories. We talked about my soon to arrive cousins, old stories, including the embarrassing ones! On this beautiful, finally temperature appropriate, thanksgiving, I am truly thankful for the ones that won't wither away. They are true, and will always remain that way! Thank you :)
